Every person is certainly born different. Some people's got a pair of blue eyes, another one is black eyes. Some other's got a black skin and the other's got a white skin. Our teacher might be an Indian, but our neighbor might be Arabic. When distinctions don’t make any difference, the world will be at peace and calm. But in reality, a slight distinction very likely turn to bigger issue, which cause discrimination.
In easy way discrimination is distinction treatment of individual based solely on their background (race, faith, membership, economic class, ethnic, etc). When the skin color make them difficult to find a job, when the law can scanning our pocket, when an individual mistake is judged as group mistake. This is a world issue, and almost had been around the minority.
Islamophobia is one of greatest issue around the discrimination problems. it is a prejudice about the Muslim, especially in the country with Muslim minority. It also mean as a hyperbolic of abhorrence and anxiety about Islam, which effecting the great hatred toward the Muslim. It has happened since 1990s and become worse after September 11 tragedy, which has been claimed as the Al-Qaeda Responsibility. Al-Qaeda is come from Afghanistan an soon known as radical Islam organization. Although the culprit is a tiny part of Muslim, which can't judge that all Muslim is culprit, but for Muslims, live in United States is hard after the Tragedy. Muslims are frequently excluded from the economics, social and public life of the nation, and are frequently victims of discrimination and harassment. Difficultness building the masjid, a hyper-vigilance about Muslims and as a result there are some law-abiding Muslims who are unfairly targeted and punished simply because they are Muslim, a rough way to get American visa when we've got Islamic name. And if you ever watch bollywood movie which titled as My Name is Khan, it tells us explicitly the discrimination which happens toward Muslims after the tragedy. Those just a small part of the fact, it is actually deeper and harder. Oslo attack which happened several weeks ago, suspect Islam as the culprit. But now it turns out that the alleged perpetrator wasn't from an international Muslim extremist group at all, but was rather a right-wing Norwegian nationalist with a history of anti-Muslim commentary. It can be extremely further, and make a huge disunity between people around the world.
It doesn’t mean that everything that Muslim done is right or conversely everything that they done are wrong. Because everyone is different, in comparison with them who did violence, the Muslim who is respect, kind and open minded is greater than we can ever imagine.
And after all this issue have to be stopped. It can be solve externally and internally. Externally, media has a big responsibility for this, each issue was starting from the media, and it will stop soon by the media, or otherwise it will remain as unstoppable media circus. The government as the peace guard must establish a warm condition between each part of community. Internally, the international dimension needs to be bear in mind. Being positive, respect and appreciate with variety will soothe strained situation. And also the Muslims have to prove that Al-Qaeda is just a wrong path of misinterpreted the meaning of being a Muslim, with being confidence and open with others. if it is not stopped directly, it may become a Christianophobia, seculeryphobia, americanophobia, or it will return to the 50 years ago situation, jewishyphobia.
