I’ve got this story last Thursday in the English lesson. I hope you’ll get a lesson from this simple story.
There was a couple of married, they were rich and owned some factories. Even though they had secured life with all their saving fund, they still unhappy. it's because they hadn’t got any children. From year to year they waited patiently for the presence of child. They asked for suggestion and advices. Subconsciously they had got older. it was impossible for the wife to deliver a baby. The couple was fidgety and sad. They were thought about the inheritor of their opulence.
it was a blessing in disguise that suddenly in the old age the wife got pregnant. They were happy and so thankful to God. At last the waiting period had end.
The baby was a boy, he was handsome but, unfortunately paralyzed. But despite his weakness the couple were happy and glad. Soon after delivered the baby the wife died. The husband grew up the children patiently with deep affection. They both got a several grateful years just before the son got sick in cause of death. Only then, the husband follow to die.
The Family died, with a lot of inheritances left. The properties were sell in the auction in purpose of charity. There was an ordinary painting of the boy in the auction. A couple of the family's servant, who had taken of the boy bid that painting for $5. No body interested to bid in the highest rate. Finally the painting had won by the servant couple. and soon after it was turn out that in the back of the painting, had been written that “Anyone who bought this painting certainly love my son. So she/he will receive all of my inheritance”.
How lucky they are… they hadn’t had any intention about getting any rewards. it was pure, they thought that buying the painting and hanging it on their wall could remind them about the boy who they used to take care of.
There is a big lesson we could take from this story, any kindness will bring us to another kindness. it isn’t about give and receive, but it’s about conviction doing kindness.
